Our Mission
Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commission the the Lord Jesus Christ gave to his church: to make disciples, baptize, and teach them everything that he commanded. We desire to be found faithful servants and work in a way that brings glory to him (Matthew 28:18-20).
Our mission is to provide a setting for life and growth in Christ for those who have decided to follow Jesus as his disciples. As the first Christians preached the Gospel, baptized, and continued steadfastly in the Apostle's doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and the prayers, so we provide for godly worship, the sacraments of baptism, the Lord's Supper, fellowship, and the reading, preaching, and teaching of God's Word (Acts 2:40-42).
Our mission is to help each disciple to understand and to do what the Lord calls him to do: to minister (serve), and thereby to help the Body of Christ to grow, and grow up into all the fullness of Christ. Our particular calling as a local congregation includes developing Christians into true students of God's Word, providing spiritual guidance and support for the ministry of Cornerstone Christian Academy, and bearing witness of traditional and biblical worship of God and Biblical theology for the renewal of Evangelicalism (Ephesians 4:1-16).
